Business Unit Controller

Your Tasks
- First point of contact of all relevant financial integration matters, i.e., interface within PAS across all entities and from PAS to Dürr Group
- After the integration is completed: first point of contact for all FI/CO related topics in the BU (for Central Group Functions, Regions, Local Entities,) and counterpart to the Dürr Group
- Business Partner for regional heads and local entity responsibles as well as key management functions (sales, segment responsible, R&D,)
- Proactive support the management by providing data on financial and operative performance.
- Profit analysis / planning / forecast / prediction and scenario planning for the BU
- Responsibility for timeliness and correctness of the monthly BU reporting
- Monitoring of key financial figures and KPIs (e.g. NWC, Cash-Flow, Investments) for the BU
- Ongoing support of key KPIs that affect e.g., cost calculation (standard costing, e.g., per hour)
- R&D controlling and invest controlling
- Identification and roll-out of best-practices across PAS
- Take the lead and ensure alignment and continued standardization of controlling tools and processes
- Data mining / cost and ad-hoc analyses
Your Skills
- Successfully completed degree in business administration or comparable qualification with several of professional experience in the areas of controlling
- Management experience with direct reports as a plus
- Profound experience in the use of business management methods and tools (cost accounting, calculation, contribution margin accounting, etc.)
- Good knowledge of IFRS accounting
- Experience in (Dürr Group) reporting structures
- High affinity for numbers as well as comprehensive thinking and acting
- Strong project management skills
- Independent, responsible and organized way of working
- Self-starter
- High degree of flexibility and resilience
- High affinity for the “new” (curious), e.g., new tools (Power BI/DAX, AI supported forecasting etc.)
