**Meet the team**

The mission of SAP S/4HANA and the **Public Cloud ERP Product Management** team is to drive and grow SAP’s core business as a market leader in cloud ERP. We are responsible for defining product scenarios based on market and target customer needs and translating them into consumable product requirements for engineering teams. We work hand-in-hand with our engineering and product marketing teams, as well as with our customers and partners on continuously improving our S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition product. Product Management is the authoritative voice of the legitimate challenges customers face, evangelizing an outcome-based product vision and roadmap that truly solves customer pain points by creating products that delight, yet serve the needs of SAP.

The SaaS foundation provides the fundamental services for the success of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition entire functional areas:

- ** Ensuring a consistent customer experience** across all functional areas by delivering important enablers and necessary supplements
- ** Striving to cover the entire product.** Current focus is on the ABAP Core, and reuse services on SAP Business Technology Platform get into focus as well
- ** Enabling IT user/Business user persona** with supporting functionality

**The Role**

Your future product management team will play a critical role in ensuring the success of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition by focusing on various aspects of its SaaS foundation and cloud qualities, particularly in data management, migration, extraction, transformation, analytics, and data integration capabilities. Therefore, expertise in one or more of these topic areas is quite advantageous:

- **
Data Migration**: Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies is essential for ensuring smooth transitions for customers migrating data to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
- ** Data Transformation**:Knowing how internal reorganizations and/or external M&A can cause shifts in a company's legal structure and providing the right guidance, tools, and techniques to help customers adapt to new organizational hierarchies, reporting structures, legal entities, and compliance requirements—many of which call for making adjustments within the live system while maintaining the cloud qualities.
- ** Analytics Capabilities**:Understanding of analytics tools and techniques for extracting insights from the data stored in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This includes knowledge of reporting frameworks, dashboarding tools, and advanced analytics methods such as predictive analytics and machine learning.
- ** Data Integration**:Expertise in extracting data from SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition to different consumers and to SAP- and 3rd party target systems for different purposes such as analytics and extensionsThis involves knowledge of integration protocols, APIs, middleware technologies, and data synchronization.

**What you’ll do**

The **Head of SaaS Foundation I (M/F/d)** will report to Head of Product Management - SaaS Foundation and lead a team across multiple locations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Be a strong influencer across SAP and in the market
- Understand and take ownership (with your team) of customer problems and turn them into product solutions from concept through to requirements, design, and delivery, collaborating with product marketing, engineering, and other stakeholders in doing so
- Engage customers, partners, and other stakeholders at all stages of the product lifecycle to ensure we are solving the right problems and building products our customers need
- Be an spokesperson for Cloud ERP within SAP and with analysts, press, and influencers
- Create a highly innovative organization with strong focus on Employee Engagement and leadership NPS

**What you bring**
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in the software industry, preferably in Product Management
- Excellent people management & leadership skills and ability to deal with high pressure from internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal, communication skills with the customers, partners and internal teams, as well as board/executive level presentation skills
- Ideally, an international track record showcasing that you can effectively relate to multicultural teams
- Strong customer focus with previous exposure to key customers, as well as partner orientation
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with demonstrable success in previous positions
- Expertise in one or multiple of the core topics mentioned above would be advantageous
- Understanding of how to develop a product strategy and a product roadmap based on developing strong market expertise for a topic or product area
- Fluent or near-native English language skills
