Senior Product Designer

**In this position at Urban Sports Club, you'll need a methodical approach to crafting solutions, along with adept product design abilities, a keen eye for aesthetics, a dedication to tackling intricate problems, familiarity with up-to-date accessibility guidelines, and exceptional communication skills.**
**The Opportunity**:
Embark on an exciting journey with our vibrant teams in Berlin, Amsterdam, or Valencia as a Senior Product Designer - System Design (all genders). Join forces with enthusiastic designers, engineers, and dedicated product managers to enhance user experiences through innovative design.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Lead the development and evolution of Urban Sports Club's design system, including creating and maintaining UI components, patterns, and guidelines, aligning them with overarching business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders at Urban Sports Club to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Design and prototype reusable components and layouts that promote consistency and usability across Urban Sports Club's product ecosystem.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback at Urban Sports Club to iteratively improve the design system and ensure it meets the needs of various user groups.
- Document design decisions, best practices, and guidelines at Urban Sports Club to empower other designers and developers to leverage the design system effectively.
- Advocate for the adoption of the design system across Urban Sports Club, providing guidance and support to teams integrating it into their workflows.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to design systems at Urban Sports Club, and incorporate relevant insights into our processes.
- Mentor junior designers at Urban Sports Club and contribute to the overall growth and development of the design team.
**What You Need to Succeed**:
- You are proficient in Figma and FigJam.
- You have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles with an ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- You have extensive experience in usability testing, and an excellent grasp of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- You are an effective communicator with robust collaboration skills, adept at working in agile environments, and fluent in English.
