Licensed Vocational Nurse

**Introduction**:
FAR Government, Inc. (FARGOV) is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to deliver exceptional nursing care services to the personnel stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

**Schedule**:40 h/ week

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities.
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings.
- Provide basic patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Perform routine procedures, such as collecting specimens for laboratory testing.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities

**Qualifications**:

- Must have successfully completed all education and training requirements leading to and graduated from an accredited national, state, or military equivalent school for Vocational Nursing.
- Must possess a current, active, valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from a US jurisdiction.
- Completion of an accredited vocational or practical nursing program.
- Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
- Compliance with all continuing education requirements to maintain licensure.
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pay: 2.000,00€ - 2.326,00€ per month

**Experience**:

- Nursing: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- unrestricted license from a US jurisdiction (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (preferred)
