**What we do**:
As part of the Trading & Origination Department, the Central European Origination team assumes the role of a market integrator for renewable and flexible assets encompassing the supply of power and green solutions to industrial customers in Europe with the main focus on German speaking area. The Origination team concludes non-standard, structured and often complex transactions in wholesale energy markets and provides green energy solutions to the industry. The responsibilities within the Origination team are divided among Origination, Market Access and Portfolio Management.

As Origination we are responsible for developing and maintaining Statkraft’s customer basis and tailoring solutions and products for them. It is our obligation to drive the entire process all the way from development, data and profitability analysis, negotiation, contract design, deal closure and implementation under the consideration and management of all relevant risks.

Relevant market is entire Europe with the main focus being on the German speaking area.

You will report to the Head of German Downstream Origination.

The key aspects of the role are:

- Develop and maintain your customer portfolio of power-consuming companies
- Work intensively with your customer base, understand their needs and originate new, lasting customer relationships
- Negotiate and close PPA and green energy deals with industrials and commercials as well as utilities and power suppliers
- Identify further non-standard/structured deal opportunities
- Be a good merchant, grow the business based on Statkraft's capabilities and opportunities you identify
- Be part of a competent team with a wide range of commercial freedom and expertise that generates deal flow at the forefront of our customers
- Eventually, take responsibility for trading renewable certificates and related dea

**Qualifications**:
**Your profile**:

- University degree in economics, engineering, mathematics or similar
- Intrinsic commercial drive and motivation to deliver great results with the team
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to details
- Structured way of working and strongly driven to get things done
- Previous customer management experience
- Previous experience in origination and/or PPA business is of advantage
- Proven track record in originating PPA deals is a plus
- Previous experience working in or dealing with municipal electricity suppliers of advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of motivation to learn and grow within a market leader for renewable energy during a pivotal time within the energy markets.
- Fluency in German and English are a must
