**Duties**:
- Manage complex neuromuscular/musculoskeletal disorders.
- Plan a full range of specialized treatment for patients who have severe disabilities.
- Coordinate care with other network providers.
- Provide musculoskeletal injury prevention services.
- Develop appropriate treatment /recommendations regarding fitness for duty in current Air Force Specialty Codes for transitioning out of military or to another specialty.
- Provide training to physical therapy students.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient care according to professional standards.

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements as outlined in the DoD Instruction 1315.19.
- This position may require you to be on-call on a rotational basis, responding to emergency calls at times beyond the normal duty day.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Shifts may be rotated on a regularly scheduled basis.
- This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 10% of the time away from your permanent duty station.
- This position requires the incumbent to successfully complete and maintain credentialing and privileging requirements.
- This position requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from, or in accordance with, the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Must meet the annual Continuing Medical Education requirements for Biomedical Sciences Corps clinician and for state licensure

- **Basic Requirement for Physical Therapist**:
**Degree**: Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
- **License**: Applicants must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physical Therapist from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States; and must have passed the National Physical Therapy Examination administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).
- **Exemption**: You are exempt from the basic requirements above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0633 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this occupational series since September 27, 2017 or before. Note: You will be required to provide appropriate documentation to the respective Human Resources Office to validate your status.In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
- **Specialized Experience**: One year of specialized experience which includes: Evaluation of physical therapy patients; develop goal oriented customized physical therapy treatment plans; and provide education on various topics such as injury prevention, disease process, effects on body functions, energy requirements, ergonomic needs, etc. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).**Education**:

- Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
- U.S. citizens overseas under ordinarily resident status are not eligible for appointment under the Status of Forces Agreement.
- If an employee brings a child to an overseas location and that child is entitled to attend a DoD school on a space-required basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation 1342.13, the DoDEA and the Military Department responsible for providing related services will ensure that the child, if eligible for special education, receives a free appropriate public education, including related services pursuant to DoDI 1342.12 and DoDM 1342.12.
- If an employee brings an infant or toddler (up to 3 years of age) to an overseas location, and that infant or toddler, but for the child's age, is entitled to attend the DoDEA on a space-required basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation 1342.13, then the Military Department responsible for EIS will provide the infant or toddler with the required EIS in accordance with the eligibility criteria consistent with DoDI 1342.12 and DoDM 1342.12.
- Employees (and family members) who require medical or dental care in the overseas location will be responsible for obtaining and paying for such care. Access for civilian employees and their families to military medical and dental treatment facilities is on a space-available and reimbursable basis only.
