An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Hand Tools Specialist (d/f/m) within the aircraft assembly perimeter.

You will join the Assembly Technology team and have the ability to get an insight in what assembly technologies is all about. Within the team you will be responsible for the implementation and acceleration of technical consumables (hand tools, cutting tools, lubricants etc.) standardization, for setting-up global processes and cost reduction initiatives across all Airbus production sites.

To make that possible you will be accountable to actively drive the improvement of data consistency and processes in all plants to achieve overall project objectives.

You will represent the Assembly Technology team in front of multiple stakeholders across different countries.

**The main tasks and responsibilities will include**:

- Challenge the status quo and pursue new opportunities
- Lead and accelerate the improvement with focus on data, process management and technology
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders to define and challenge the status quo
- Align cost reduction initiatives and priorities with all stakeholders and customer across different countries
- Represent our team and our objectives in relevant steerings
- Develop and maintain a network to enable the ambitions
- Deliver to our commitments with a strong network in all plants

The role will be based in Stade and will as well require travels outside of Stade depending on specific projects and engagement with all plants. In addition, depending on the activities, working from home occasionally is possible.

- You hold an Engineering degree and/or have practical experience in Engineering?
- You possess knowledge of manufacturing, engineering or technologies?
- You like to communicate and you have interpersonal skills independent from hierarchy?
- You already have some solid project management experience or you like to manage projects and tasks?
- We like to work in a team and energize each other, so do you?
- You enjoy analyzing and simplifying complex topics?
- You want to challenge the status quo and our way of working?
