We are located in Glinde with our production site.

Operations Director (M/F/d)

**The Opportunity...**:
A day in the life of our Operations Director
- Have direct managerial overview of consumable production/direct labor, assembly, logistics, planning & purchasing/sourcing as well as Quality.
- Provide leadership within the business unit to optimize margins and drive top-line and bottom-line growth.
- Drive engagement and empowerment of all staff in alignment with the management team members.
- Manage the Glinde Operations daily with direct responsibility for facilities, infrastructure, events, safety, and the all-round wellbeing of employees together with HR and collaborate close with the Tipper Tie Glinde Works Council.
- Partner with the JBT RCI team and Global VP of Operations to implement our RCI roadmap.
- Work closely with sales, operations, customer care, and other functional departments to ensure we have a high utilization of resources and organizational performance.
- Prepare the site operating budget and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in infrastructure, technology, equipment, systems, or other assets and resources.
- Take the Invertory Management responsibility on site
- Ensure adequate operational utilization of resources and allocation to MBUs.
- Foster end-to-end innovation on enterprise-critical assets through collaboration with all global functions present at site and overall Tipper Tie.
- Help communicate our strategy for external visitors. Maintain and foster stakeholder engagement at the site.
- Serve as community and industry liaison, developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers in the industry.
- Implement the strategy to create an environment where employees can contribute to their highest potential, delivering innovative contributions to the business in safe, efficient, and effective ways.
- Ensure investments in capabilities, resources and infrastructure on site is in alignment with strategy and capital processes.
- Lead implementation and execution of projects on site.
- Ensure interface, collaboration, and handover with other site functions.
- Facilitate site tours, demonstrations and events with clients, customers, and industry partners as needed.

- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 7 - 10 years’ experience working within a complex matrixed organization.
- Fluent in English.
