**People Operations Generalist, Berlin**

As a People Operations Generalist at Infarm you will be part of the People Team where you are specifically responsible for all payroll topics - including being the first point of contact for all relevant stakeholders as well as employees. Besides that, you will also work on more administrative tasks such as creating contracts for new hires or amendments to existing employees. **Responsibilities**:

- Maintain our external payroll system and be jointly responsible for the monthly preparatory payroll across different countries
- Work on data maintenance and administration of our time recording system
- Prepare data for German authorities and health insurance companies
- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
- Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
- Administrate all things regarding people including handling of the HRIS tool BambooHR
- Provide labor law expertise and guidance to different stakeholders while ensuring the operations being up-to-date and in compliance with the law
- Create legal documents like contracts, reference letters, etc.
- Provide insights into best practices of development and implementation of personnel and company-wide guidelines
- Driving for improvement of processes to make the people team work more effective

**Requirements**:

- Solid understanding of an outsourced payroll process
- Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
- Knowledge of German labor law and proven experience in this area, knowledge of other countries are a plus
- Knowledge of running an outsourced payroll system in either Germany, Denmark, United Kingdom or Netherlands is considered a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus
- Adaptability, flexibility and multitasking ability as well as trustworthiness
- Independent work attitude, initiative and responsibility
- Fluent in German and English (oral and written)
