The Site Supervisor Biorepository Operations (M/F/d) will manage one or more facets of the clinical operations which includes production, supply chain management, distribution, and facility maintenance. Specific areas of responsibilities include logistics, archival and warehousing, inventory management, production, capacity planning and master scheduling, and may include project management, customer service and lab operations. Providing leadership and direction on a cross functional basis, managing a team of professionals with a focus on setting objectives, plans and tactics with direct impact on the immediate or short-term operational results of the department are also part of this exciting opportunity.

What we're looking for
- Generally 7-9 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years of leadership and/or supervisory responsibility; proficient interviewing skills.
- A strong background, comprehensive knowledge of complex archival or warehousing operations is necessary.
- A working knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems is a must.
- College degree in relevant field. Six Sigma Certification and Master’s degree preferred.
- GMP and GLP training preferred. Experience with GxP (GMP, GLP, GCLP, GCP) regulated industries and laboratory operations preferred. Central Lab, CRO, Biobanking / Archival experience preferred.
- A broad range of management skills and experience is required with particular emphasis on leadership, supervision, motivation, communication, and planning.
- Demonstrated experience working with WM, Labor Management and Slotting tools.
- Driver's lisence
- Language requirements: Fluency in English, German and preferably French.

- Plans and schedules all activities and services to support platform objectives.
- Directs the activities of all functions involved in the acquisition, processing, storage, retrieval, disposal and value added processing of archived specimens, samples and products to customers.
- Ensures current and accurate inventory control for each account.
- Ensures appropriate safe use and operation of facility equipment and processing technique training programs are in place for Biorepository technicians.
- Initiates and coordinate major projects such as plant layouts, facility upgrades and installation of capital equipment.
- Participates in budget preparation, revenue and account analyses.
- Establishes business continuity plans
- Ensures the accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding facility operations.
- Fosters a continuous improvement culture within the team to ensure constant development of processes and people.
- Leads and coaches others in maintaining excellence on cGxP, quality control, security and safety, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and quality standards.
- Directs and oversees job assignments and plans daily labor schedules.
- Establish department goals and budgets consistent with company objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment.
- Monitors the cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and oversee adjustments and/or repairs as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned
