We are looking for an engaged **Climate & Ecosystem Services Officer, **who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.

**The Scope**

To support the business and product development, communication and marketing activities of the Climate & Ecosystem Services Programme, and to explore market opportunities and business models for FSC ecosystem services tools.

**Main Roles and Responsibilities**
- To monitor trends and developments of ecosystem services and climate markets for FSC.
- To coordinate and produce target-specific marketing, communications, and materials in collaboration with responsible departments.
- To coordinate and implement projects to increase uptake of FSC ecosystem services tools.
- To coordinate the event engagement efforts of the Climate & Ecosystem Services Programme, together with the Climate Engagement Programme.
- To support the management of external communication channels of the program to engage with the corporate sector.
- To manage internal communication channels to align activities within FSC International and Network Partners.
- Any other task as assigned by formal supervisor and project work as assigned according to special organizational needs.

**Qualification, Experience and Skills**
- **Education and Training**:University degree or equivalent training or experience in a relevant field (for example Business Administration, Economics, Forest Products, Marketing, Communication)
- **Working Experience, Style and Skills**:At least 3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following: market development, payment for ecosystem services, corporate environmental responsibility programmes.

Basic knowledge of forest ecosystem services and climate markets.
Proven professional abilities in managing complex projects in a multi-cultural environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience in data analysis for market intelligence. Strong sense for diligence and accuracy.
Collaborative working style and team building skills.
Good time management skills, ability to perform well while handling simultaneously a number of functions.
Strategic thinking and a solution
- and service-oriented attitude to work.
- **Computer Skills**:Experience with standard software packages (MS Office).
- **Language and Communication Skills**:Fluency in English.

Additional fluency in Spanish or French is a plus.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

**Terms and Conditions**:

- Location: Bonn, Germany.
- Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
- Starting Date: As soon as possible.
- Travel: Sporadic travel could be required.
