We are looking for a mid-level Web Designer to join our global B2B Design team in Berlin
The B2B design team at Babbel is a small expert team of designers, which creates communication design for the global B2B brand including performance-based marketing for online and offline channels and high quality content piece production to support all B2B teams (Marketing, Sales, AM, Didactics, etc) through brand consistency across channels. We’re looking to expand the team by adding a Web Designer.
In this role, your goal is to bring the Babbel B2B website to new life. You will concept, redesign, execute and deliver our website that evoke the Babbel B2B brand and speak to our B2B target audience. If you are a fan of pixel perfect design, UX/UI design, enjoy topics like Conversion Rate Optimization, and helping a B2B brand grow, this is the right role for you.
Working closely with the Head of Design, Marketing Operations Team and other marketing stakeholders, you will create what will drive customer awareness and interest in Babbel for Business. From top-of-the-funnel brand awareness via clever and engaging web design to bottom-of-the-funnel lead generation pages, your work will have its imprint at every touch point in a customer’s journey with Babbel for Business.
You will join a team of designers and work closely with marketing operators, SEO experts, frontend developers, content strategists, blog editors, performance marketer and many more.
**You will**:
- Create high-quality work that delights our B2B audience, meets company objectives and reinforces our B2B brand
- Concept and design a multilingual responsive website (WordPress) for Babbel for Business, incl. an efficient navigation, blog, different content libraries and more to turn website visitors into engaged prospects
- Collaborate with SEO experts to drive organic traffic
- Establish smart UI/UX Design and CRO to push lead generation
- Create wireframes for developers while also designing and delivering all onsite related assets for the web pages
- Independently and continuously work on finding solutions to expand the customer’s experience on our B2B website through new pages and features
**You have**:
- 3+ years professional web design experience
- Excellent design craft with an eye for details and consistency
- Passion and experience in UI/UX Design and Conversion Rate Optimization
- Experience in designing templates for website sections and landing pages
- Proficiency with design tools like Adobe CC (XD), Figma etc.
- Strategic thinker, able to see an idea through from concept to execution
- Great communication and time management skills
- Proficient written and spoken English
**Nice-to-have**:
- Web design experience in startup or tech environment
- Familiarity in working in a in-house creative team
- Knowledge of CSS
- Extended work experience in “classic” graphic / visual design especially marketing related
- Proficiency written and spoken German
