**Your future plans**
As central interface Back Office is responsible for the accurate and timely processing and settlement of trading activities done on the global energy and commodity markets. The activities cover financial and physical as well as derivatives and physical deliveries via Exchanges and OTC in commodities like power, natural gas, LNG, biomass, renewable energy certificates, emission rights, oil, coal, freight and metals.

We are hiring an additional member for our Back Office Clearing Team to extend our Clearing knowledge base and to support our existing business as well as our growth initiatives in European, Asian and US exchange traded commodity markets.
- Coordination and alignment with exchanges / clearing houses, banks, brokers and other counterparties
- Close interaction and collaboration with internal departments like Front Office, IT, Finance, Legal and Credit Risk
- Collaboration in projects and initiatives, e.g. setup of new markets and products or group internal changes / expansions
- Support the development and improvement of IT Systems as well as actively driving the ongoing automation of processes
- Participation in international working groups with internal and external involvement
- Support documentation of processes based on audit and compliance
- Internal reporting based on (ad-hoc) queries by senior functions
- Support group wide liquidity topics and margin analysis

Above responsibilities imply a detailed understanding of our clearing setup which we assist with full trainings on reconciliation and operational processes of our daily cleared business activities.

**Your powerful skills**
- Degree or other appropriate qualification
- Working experience in either energy or finance industry
- Accurate, independent way of working with the ability to quickly handle complex and unknown issues
- Excellent self-organization and prioritization skills within tight deadlines
- High degree of reliability, proactiveness and teamwork
- Being self-confident as well as being capable to act and communicate professional
- Language skills: fluent in English and German

**Advantageous, but not a must**
- Ideally experience within exchange traded derivatives environment
- Advanced knowledge of IT software (MS Office, OLF Endur, SAP)
