**Overview**

ESG is included in the top-4 strategic priorities of the group-wide transformational strategy of Deutsche Bank. We are investing in the platforms, data and technology that will ensure we meet our ESG reporting requirements, and help our clients manage their Sustainability goals and transition to a Net Zero Carbon economy.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Accountable for Sustainability Technology Architecture. For that segment they inspire and oversee the development of architecture viewpoints which demonstrate how capabilities need to change to support the banks’ Sustainability goals, and ensuring the buy-in of key stakeholders.
- Supporting development of business cases, approval, funding and prioritization, engaging senior stakeholders across the functions and divisions of the bank.
- Alignment of Sustainability Technology with the bank’s strategy, balancing benefits, opportunities, costs and risks. In cases where there is not full alignment, proactively manage the impacts.
- Work closely with Sustainability Technology Product, Data and Engineering teams to execute the architectural vision.
- Build long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation as well as with external parties, including vendors, regulators and industry bodies. Facilitate open communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Represent Sustainability Technology on governance and communications forums and can demonstrate how their contribution evolves and matures the bank’s architecture
- As a member of the Sustainability Technology Leadership team, support strategy, talent development, and governance of the department

**Your skills and experience**
- Deep knowledge of the Architecture and Design Principles, Algorithms and Data Structures for both on-prem and cloud native solutions (GCP Architecture Certification preferred)
- Prior experience as a senior engineer, architect or principal business/technical analyst, designing and implementing complex systems, platforms and services
- Experience in managing or delivering transformation programmes, including representing architecture or delivery in senior stakeholder and governance forums
- Strong written and oral communication skills to diverse audiences to build consensus, share and drive architecture and strategy, with senior management and our global engineering delivery team
- Extensive experience in Financial Services context with good knowledge of financial products across Investment, Corporate and Private banking
- Good Knowledge of Microservices Architecture, DevOps and SRE techniques
- Understanding principles of Information Security
- Fluent in English
