Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for statutory and US GAAP accounting and tax; tax filing, declarations and all related

reports.
- Preparing and analyzing income statement and balance sheet reporting for month-end activities, rolling forecast and budget for the related BU Technical Centers located in Germany.
- Reporting monthly variance with prior forecast & budget.
- Preparing and organizing the review for month-end actuals, rolling forecast and budget for Germany

Technical Centers with TC Management and Global Engineering Finance team.
- Tracking and reviewing customer reimbursements, related contracts and ensuring full compliance in

accounting records.
- Close follow up of actual project costs and preparing budget and forecast for Engineering based on the

projects.
- Performing cash flow analysis.
- Collection, analysis, presentation and distribution of financial information required by Business Unit.
- Following and approving Treasury transactions.
- Working closely with outside finance consulting company responsibles (GBS) and managing, controlling them for the related entity accounting activities (GBS team supports for Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and G/L Accounting).

- Developed a strong understanding of the key value drivers of the BorgWarner business for the German

Technical Centers.
- Successfully developed a trusting relationship with the local management team in Germany and

BorgWarner’s global finance team that instils trust and confidence coupled with decisive action.
- Devised and implemented a plan to build-up and further development the finance function in Germany

and have begun to see a material impact of new initiatives.
- Effectively supported the management team to develop the growth strategy and achieve the desired

financial results. Successfully supported in growing the business and achieving the collective goals.
- Effectively understood and have become part of the BorgWarner culture, building strong relationships

across the company.

Experience and Professional Qualifications
- At least 3 years of working experience within a finance function. Experience from a multi-national

company or automotive industry is a plus.
- Extensive experience with German and US statutory accounting and tax compliance.
- Relevant experience with preparing and analyzing income statement and balance sheet reporting for

month-end activities, rolling forecast and budget developing to manage business units.
- Existing technical and analytical skills. Technical experience will cover the range of financial systems,

ERP systems, tax and accounting standards, with a thorough understanding of financial control, financial

analysis, financial reporting, audit, and risk/insurance.
- Affinity with Excel, SAP, HFM, SmartView is an advantage.
- Excellent command of written and spoken German and English. Other languages are a plus.
