**THE POSITION**
As one of the leading manufacturers for biopharmaceuticals worldwide, the Boehringer Ingelheim Bio Business Unit (BioBU) drives for innovation and continuously invests in its complex, highly automated production facilities.
In this position you will be part of an interdisciplinary team which has the goal to set Manufacturing Execution System standards including related business processes.
By analyzing the needs of our local BioBU sites, you develop the divisional strategy and realize it in close collaboration and alignment with corporate functions including Quality, IT and Global Business Service (GBS).
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- As Senior Business Process Architect MES you are responsible for the life cycle management of our global BioMES (bio manufacturing execution system) template.
- You facilitate and consolidate all system relevant aspects from a business divisional perspective.
- In cooperation with our different BioBU sites you steer individual demands to improve and standardize the system for global use and to support local needs.
- You drive the harmonization of associated processes across all related interfaces / systems.
- You elaborate the demands to requirements and force to translate them into solutions.
- To facilitate the global collaboration, you establish efficient and effective processes.
- You drive the architectural design to improve the system continuously from a strategic perspective.
- You contribute to the solution of all quality related topics as e.g. incidents.
- Furthermore, you are the central point of contact between all involved parties, i.e. Quality, Computer Systems Validation, IT, GBS and external stakeholders and suppliers.
- You contribute to prioritize and synchronize the multiple BioMES related projects.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or master’s degree in (MBA, MSC), engineering, information technology, natural sciences, Pharmaceuticals and/or Biotechnology or equivalent
- Longstanding professional experience with manufacturing execution systems and process design
- Effective facilitation, communication, presentation and change management skills as well as excellent analytical, strategic, and innovative thinking ability and strong busines judgement
- Project Management experience as well as process understanding and business process excellence
- Experience working in a matrix organization and leading cross-functional teams
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German
