**Superintendent Electric (traveler) - AIDA / Costa Fleet**
**Your Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a safe and economic electro-technical operation of AIDA and Costa cruise vessels concerning the nautical, technical and hotel department in alignment with rules and regulations and company standards
- Able to travel within all the fleets to supervise all the jobs related to special projects and normal maintenance especially dry dock periods
- Enroll and review new procedures or projects related to the elector technical department
- Prepare related requisitions and orders in the office to support the Electrical Superintendent ship related
- Planning, management, execution and reporting of maintenance activities onboard the ship within the electro-technical areas mainly but not limited to:

- Main Alternators
- HV and LV Switchboards & Distributions
- Propulsion Systems
- Thermographic Surveys
- UPS and VFD Systems

In cooperation with the on bord technical department or the riding team members as a leader.
- To drive safety and environmental protection culture
- Support a positive and constructive environment and culture with seamless integration between ship and shore, other departments and the Carnival group

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering or similar
- Minimum of 3 years professional or Senior professional experience in the area of marine electrical/electronic engineering, cruise industry preferred
- Special professional skills: financial systems, quality assurance, planned maintenance and purchase system, passenger ships experience
- IMO / Certification CoC “STCW III/6” and able to obtain an Italian Endorsement
- Senior leadership skills and good communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and able to learn
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and to work in a multicultural team
- The Superintendent is obliged to cooperate with the Chief Electrical Engineer on bord and Superintendents ashore in accordance with the vessel’s operational and international requirements, environmental regulations, and limitations by law.
