**Responsibilities**:

- Holistic evaluation and preparation of dossiers for cosmetic ingredients and active substances for national and international notifications / chemical registrations as well as technical contact person for authorities and customers
- Determination and evaluation of toxicological and ecotoxicological data including hazard and risk related assessment of substances and products
- Selection of suitable studies to determine hazard characteristics for substances, their monitoring and scientific evaluation of the results with a focus on the assessment of cosmetic ingredients and active ingredients
- Support in ensuring the worldwide marketability of products with regard to cosmetic and chemical regulatory requirements
- Intensive cooperation within a successfully operating product stewardship team as well as with international expert colleagues
- Close cooperation with the responsible persons from the marketing, research and production departments

**Requirements**:

- Successfully completed university studies in toxicology, chemistry, medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, biology or food chemistry, preferably with a doctorate degree
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the job-relevant field of safety assessment of cosmetic ingredients and active substances desirable
- Additional qualification in the field of toxicology, e.g. as a specialist toxicologist DGPT
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases for searching (eco-) toxicological and physico-chemical data sets
- Very good written and spoken German, English and ideally also French language skills
- Strong communication and cooperation skills, as well as coordination of tasks within matrix organizations
