**Privacy Counsel (m/w/d)**

In this position, you will be a member of the global Privacy team and report to the European Data Protection Officer. You will partner with local legal counsel in providing privacy and data protection support across all business units with a primary focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the opportunity for additional involvement in privacy-related projects in the Growth Emerging Markets (GEM), including Russia.

**#Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Negotiating and amending data processing agreements based on company templates and assisting the European Data Protection Officer and local legal counsel in reviewing third-party data processing agreements
- Providing support in relation to data protection sections of other types of agreements such as master services agreements, professional services agreements, and SOWs
- Providing privacy support regarding the launch of digital apps, including training to the business teams and advice on key privacy aspects
- Preparing responses to regulators and individuals on privacy matters
- Facilitating the development of privacy and data protection training and educational materials
- Remaining current on privacy and data protection developments, new legislations/regulations
- Providing support in relation to business development activities, including conducting due diligence, as they arise

**#Your Profile**:

- First experience (2-3 years) in data protection compliance advisory work in private practice or in-house team in Germany, previous experience in the healthcare sector is a plus
- Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and knowledge of industry standards affecting privacy and information security (e.g. NIST and ISO 27001/27002) preferred
- Strong skills in communication, interpersonal and project management
- Ability to work independently and driving results
- German at native speaker level and fluency in English
- Ability to speak and write Russian and/or Arabic fluently is a plus
- Pro-active attitude and approach towards continuous improvement
- Dedicated commitment to the highest standards of quality, integrity, ethics and professionalism
- Familiarity with technology and digital solutions
