Microsoft SQL Database Administrator

Proclinical are recruiting a Microsoft SQL Database Administrator for a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Frankfurt.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for database tuning, error analysis and troubleshooting.
- Manage the automation of administrative tasks.
- Upkeep and supervise, alongside constant development of the Microsoft SQL Server Creation of operating ideas for scalable and highly available database systems.
- You will develop the backup and recovery ideas for database-based systems.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in IT studies, accomplished training with a focus IT or equivalent education.
- Various years of experience in an administration role of interactive database systems.
- Know-how of and certification in the field of Microsoft SQL server if needed.
- Familiarity with the administration of any other database systems, for example: Oracle, PostgreSQL or cloud technologies would be beneficial.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Works well in a team.
- Able to think analytically.
- Works well in a structured and objective-focused manner.
- Fluency in the German and English language.
