For the **Institute of Digital Medicine**, in the field of **Data Management and Clinical Decision** Support, we are looking for the next possible date for a research assistant (M/F/d) / PhD student (M/F/d). This employment is initially limited until 31 January 2026.

Your tasks
- Evaluation of concepts, architectures and frameworks for federated learning and secure multi-party computation
- Development and establishment of the corresponding infrastructures
- Collaborative implementation of local machine learning methods in distributed environments in critical care

**Profile**:

- Master's degree in a data-driven or medical field of study such as medical|bio informatics, physics, geography, public health, medicine
- Knowledge and practical experience in
- Machine Learning / Deep Learning
- Common scripting languages for data analysis (R or Python)
- Container solutions and microservices
- Data integration
- High motivation and ability to solve problems independently
