This role is an excellent opportunity to join us as a **Associate Payroll Specialist** in our Tenneco_, _Performance Solutions, Braking Business Unit in Glinde_, _Germany.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Handling of payroll accounting as well as all upstream and downstream processes for a designated employee group
- Execution of administrative personnel tasks, including certification
- Creation of evaluations, reports, and statistics
- Maintenance of the time management system
- Support with month-end and year-end work
- Contact person for supervisors and employees on topics relevant to billing
- Cooperative cooperation with health insurance companies, offices, institutions, and authorities
What will make you successful
- Completed vocational training as an industrial clerk or personnel specialist with professional experience in payroll accounting
- Extensive experience in payroll accounting for a shift operation
- Very good knowledge of income tax and social security law
- Experience with the SAP billing system and knowledge of SAP Org-Mgmt. is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of time recording and implementation in billing
- Very good MS Office, esp. Excel knowledge (S-reference, pivot tables)
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Careful, systematic, and independent way of working
