**About Gofilex - what we do**
Founded in 1938, Gofilex has transitioned from a traditional logistics company to the biggest global digital delivery hub; nowadays delivering content electronically into 9000+ cinemas worldwide, supported by 5 international offices.

We have a rich history of working with studios, independent distributors, cinemas, and art houses, providing state-of-the-art services for (in the past) 35MM and merchandise and (in the present) digital content, namely films, trailers and Live-streams.

**Your responsibilities**
To deliver electronically to cinemas, we install a Gofilex server (named Filmvault) at each cinema. Thanks this we have a unique state-of-the-art server network spread over 9000+ locations in over 40+ countries, which is steadily growing.
You (along with the rest of the networking team) will be responsible for installing, maintaining and improving our network; from our central storage and distribution servers, to servers and routers installed locally at cinemas.

To give a better idea of what that means, a day-to-day can look like this:

- 9:30-11:30:_
Discussing/designing the most efficient way to bulk-ingest various types of content to our datawarehouse with our partners in Japan.
- 11:30-12:30:_
Working with our operational team to ensure film deliveries can continue at the highest possible bandwith to cinemas in Uzbekistan.
- 13:30-16:30:_
R&D: designing, discussing and testing a new software architecture for a new type of servers.
- 16:30-17:00:_
Liasing with a cinema in Puerto Rico to configure our hardware to fit their local network.
- 17:00-18:00:_
Provisioning and preparing new hardware to be shipped to to-be-installed cinema locations.

In short, we are looking for someone who likes to do something different every day, and who will enjoy working in a small, innovative team to make sure all cinemas receive their films on time.

Since we are rapidly expanding, you have a lot of room to find your areas of interest in networking, and develop them.

**Profile**
We are looking for someone who is:

- Eager to learn
- Likes to do something different every day, and enjoys working on a variety of tasks and projects
- Has affinity with films and cinemas (a big plus)

**Requirements**:
At least one year of experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Network administration in the traditional sense; working with routers, switches, firewalls and setting up networks from the ground up.
- Configuration and maintenance of Linux (servers)
- Configuration and maintenance of AWS services
