**Essential Functions**:

- Preparation of sales tax returns, annual returns, statistical reports.
- Reconciliation of accounts and clarification
- Involvement in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Participation in accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting
- Monitoring of open items (dunning process)
- Correspondence and processing of business and tax consultant inquiries
- Coordination of payroll accounting, transmission and verification of payroll data in cooperation with the external service provider
- If necessary, cooperation in the supervision of external auditors

**Qualification Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and several years of professional experience
- Certification as a balance sheet accountant
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Good understanding of payroll taxes and local labor laws
- Knowledge in the areas of value added tax (VAT) and corporate income tax
