We are a growing team looking for a Senior Group **Accountant **to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. You would join our **Finance team** in the **Berlin** office.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The **Senior Group Accountant** is here to be responsible for managing and supervising the daily operations of the accounting department.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**
- Prepare monthly group reporting according to IFRS in close cooperation with the Head of Group Accounting
- Support group subsidiaries in IFRS related accounting matters
- Prepare analyses of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Implement new reporting policies on group and local level
- Develop and improve accounting and reporting practices throughout the company
- Take the reporting to the next level using Oracle Netsuite ERP
- Work closely together with the Head of Finance and CFO

**PREFERABLY YOU HAVE**
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline. ACCA is a plus.
- Extensive work experience, preferably as an auditor or consultant within a Big 4 audit company or preparation of consolidated group financial statements
- Strong IFRS knowledge - basic German GAAP and tax law knowledge will be a plus
- Past experience with ERP systems - Oracle Netsuite a plus
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility of projects that push the needle within the organization
