**The Role**

**Your Responsibilities**
- Shape and execute the strategy for future SellerX Group global logistics that delivers leading-edge cost and performance metrics
- Analyze all aspects of global transportation, warehousing and fulfillment to reduce end-to-end lead times and landed costs to all destination markets globally
- Have full accountability over all logistics spend and performance SLAs
- Lead planning activities including labor planning, rate forecasting, peak season planning and network design
- Build, develop and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers, 3PLs and technology and automation solution providers
- Keep abreast of industry trends and benchmarks, and partner solutions and continuously identify and execute upon opportunities to optimize cost effectiveness and customer experience
- Sponsor continuous improvement initiatives to improve operations through the implementation of enhanced processes and technology
- Ensure carrier and customs brokers compliance with company policies and procedures for product transit, delivery and customs clearance
- Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement in all areas and instill the principles of this culture within the internal team and throughout the impacted departments
- Identify and lead business requirement definition for new or improved technology solutions such as TMS, tracking software, warehouse automation and EDI

**Your Background**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field; MBA or master's degree desirable
- A minimum of 7 years experience leading logistics, distribution center, transportation and trade compliance operations in a high-volume, fast-moving consumer goods environment, preferably in an international, e-commerce organization
- Proven ability to formulate and execute long term strategic plans
- Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization and the ability to influence executive leadership with compelling logic and vision
- Experience with holding significant accountability, including expertise with vendor negotiations and contract development and strong existing relationships with major freight forwarders, customs brokers and parcel couriers
- Strong analytical skills, with a quality and data-driven approach in leading key business decisions to ensure continuous improvement, cost optimization, and customer experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build organizational capabilities, teams and processes and inspire teams in delivering results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, start-up environment
- Proven track record of executing critical large-scale projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough understanding of international shipping and customs documentation and processes for import and export
- Extensive 3PL management and new warehouse site implementation experience
- Familiarity with large technology implementations, including WMS, TMS, and ERP.
- Fluency in German and English; Knowledge of Mandarin an asset
- E-commerce, retail, and international experience strongly preferred
