Tour Ambassador

Global Safari Travel & Tourism - Oman specialises in tailor made tours to The Sultanate of Oman. Our target market is Europe and are looking to hire A _**Tour Ambassador/Representative **_from Germany to promote and generate local partnerships with outbound tour agencies.

**Responsibilities**
- Attract tourists to visit Oman
- Attract German businessess and tour organizers to promote Oman as a tour destination
- selling and organising excursions and other activities in Oman to our clients
- responding to clients' queries (this may involve being on duty for set times each day)
- establishing and maintaining relationships with excursion agents and travel companies
- maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the resort and the local area of Oman in order to answer clients' questions
- accompanying customers on excursions and acting as a guide in Oman (if required)
- keeping basic accounts & records of clients
- writing reports of daily work activities
- assisting in the support and training of new holiday representatives/Ambassadors in Germany or Italy
- Expand and create partnerships with local DMCs in Germany
- Identifying potential clients within specific industries, businesses, or organizations that might have a need for tour services
- Negotiating contracts with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction, and ensuring that agreements are adhered to over time
- Identifying opportunities for client growth by offering additional products or services that complement existing offerings
- Maintaining clients’ records in a computer database
- Following up with clients after initial meetings to ensure satisfaction with products or services provided

**-Commission based salary (Confirmed Tourists/Trips to Oman)**

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the tourism industry (Tour guide/ Tour Organizer / DMC)
- Connection with local outbound tour organizers in Germany
- Excellent verbal and written English and German
