**In a nutshell**:
Mika is seeking a visionary Vice President of Technology to lead our tech department and drive software development. In this role, you will spearhead the development of cutting-edge health tech solutions, ensuring high-quality service to our patients on their journey to surviving cancer.
**What you will be doing**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the technology strategy aligned with our company's objectives. Manage the technology budget and drive the development of innovative solutions.
- Team Management and Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of developers, engineers, and IT specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Product Development Oversight: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring quality, user needs, and regulatory compliance. Closely collaborate with our product team to develop roadmaps and plan capacities.
- Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends and champion the adoption of new technologies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other department heads to ensure technology initiatives align with business goals. Engage with external partners, e.g. life science companies and technology vendors, to drive collaboration and innovation.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure the technology infrastructure is secure, resilient, and compliant with industry regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, MDR, HIPAA) in close collaboration with our compliance team.
**What we would like you to bring with**:
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in health tech or digital health sectors.
- “Hands-on mentality” and expertise in modern software development practices, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
- Ideally understanding of regulatory environments and data privacy considerations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in English.
