**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Elaboration and implementation of procurement strategies, taking into account market and demand developments
- Disciplinary and technical management of the purchasing team in Germany as well as the technical management of the corresponding employees abroad
- Responsibility for relationships with strategic suppliers, ensuring solution-oriented cooperation and negotiating important supply contracts
- Development of measures for cost optimization as well as monitoring of purchasing performance and results
- Further development of risk management in raw material purchasing as well as management of sustainability and certification requirements in cooperation with the specialist departments

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Master's degree in engineering or economics, preferably with a focus on supply chain management
- Professional and management experience in a comparable job in volatile petrochemical markets as well as a high degree of entrepreneurial thinking
- Good knowledge of the modes of action and mechanisms of the relevant markets along the entire value chain
- Analytical skills as well as a strong affinity for the implementation and operationalization of complex strategies
- Motivating, convincing manager and leader with the will to drive change and implement it sustainably
- Enjoyment of leading and developing a young, international team
- Open and inspiring manner as well as a winning appearance with social and intercultural competence
- Confident handling in the use of SAP, database systems, MS-Office and modern communication media
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
