Based on our mission to provide “impactful, agile and collaborative auditing that really matters”, Group Audit (GAudit) offers independent and objective assurance and consultation to various clients. This includes the Board of Management of MR as well as additional senior leaders of business and corporate functions within the Group.
Within the global audit community GAudit1.1 is responsible for investment-related audits. We are looking for an expert in investment and asset management for auditing Group Investment Management (GIM), MEAG (Munich, New York, Hong Kong), MR Investment Partners, and other subsidiaries and departments. The companies are active in all asset classes.
**Your Job**
- Autonomously plan and execute audits in all areas of investment and asset management as an audit team leader and/or audit team member
- Prepare audit reports, communicate results and monitor the implementation of agreed measures in close cooperation with the audit client
- Contribute to the risk driven assessment of the audit universe and consecutive audit planning process
- Proactively drive the digital evolution of the audit community
- Act as a partner to audited units and as an investment and asset management expert for the global audit community
- Provide value-adding advice to the business on how to improve governance, risk management and internal control systems, as well as operational processes or structures
**Your Profile**
- University degree in economics, finance, law or equivalent
- More than three years of operational experience in investment and asset management, expert knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an advantage: portfolio management, trade processing, risk management, accounting for financial instruments and related regulatory frameworks (e.g. KAGB, KAMaRisk, MaRisk)
- Internal audit and international experience a plus
- CFA, CIA or other relevant certifications or willingness to obtain them
- High degree of professionalism, confident and convincing manner, negotiation skills and assertiveness, ability to resolve conflicts effectively and pragmatically
- Ability to learn new topics quickly, commitment to continuous learning, proactive knowledge sharing, willingness to keep up with industry and regulatory developments
- Advanced knowledge of Office 365, experience with data analytics tools a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel (approx. 10%)
