**Business Development Manager for the D/A/CH region (M/F/D)**
**Reporting and Location**
The Business Development Manager reports to the Head of Europe Hospitality and will be a member of the Management Team Germany. The position is based in Wiesbaden, Germany.
**_Job Description_**
**Responsibilities**
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
- Business Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's technical capabilities and growth objectives.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and targeting potential clients to expand our customer base.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our technical products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients and partners.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
- Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and close deals with clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals by driving new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and updates on business development progress and key performance indicators for the executive team.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in technical business development or related roles.
- Strong understanding of technical solutions, products and services.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.

- Self-driven, results-oriented entrepreneurial mindset with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high sales growth and increased profits in the short and long term.
- Ability to work both within a defined structure as well as independently
- Ability to operate in an environment of teamwork, common goals, and transparency.
- Must possess strong and effective presentation and communication skills, whether one-on-one, in public settings, or via written.
- Demonstrable motivation and influencing skills
- PC and systems literate with ERP/CRM exposure a plus
