**Role description**:
As a Senior Executive in Security, Safety, Health, and Wellbeing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall security, health and safety, and wellbeing of our people, assets, and infrastructure within the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks, promote a safe and healthy work environment, and foster employee well-being.
This role leads the Arcadis Global Health & Safety, Wellbeing & Security Program. The location can be any major GBA Arcadis office.
The Global Director of Health & Safety, Wellbeing & Security reports to the Chief Delivery Officer. The role has a functional relationship with the H&S managers in the regions.
**Role accountabilities**:

**Strategic Planning**:Develop and implement long-term strategies and initiatives to enhance security measures, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and promote employee well-being.
**Security Management**:Oversee all aspects of physical security, including access control, surveillance systems, and security personnel. Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to safeguard facilities, assets, and personnel against potential threats, including theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
**Safety Compliance**:Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and industry-specific guidelines. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
**Health and Wellbeing Initiatives**:Develop and implement programs and initiatives to support employee health and well-being, including mental health support, wellness programs, and ergonomic assessments.
**Emergency Preparedness**:Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for various scenarios, including natural disasters, medical emergencies, and security threats. Conduct drills and training exercises to ensure employees are prepared to respond effectively to emergencies and evacuate safely when necessary.

- Collaborate with senior management to align security, safety, health, and wellbeing objectives with overall organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide training and resources to employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accident prevention.
- Collaborate with P&C and other departments to address workplace stressors, promote work-life balance, and foster a positive and healthy work culture.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and protocols to effectively address security incidents and crises.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Proven experience in security management, safety compliance, and/or occupational health and wellbeing, with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, safety regulations, and best practices in employee wellbeing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, develop strategies, and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis management and emergency response planning.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
