Project Buyer Electronics

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Cross-site project purchasing of electronic components for assembled printed circuit boards
- Support in the selection of suitable components by creating market transparency and by price comparisons
- Continuous screening of the market for lower-priced and higher-performance components
- Commercial evaluation of electronics bill of materials to generate customer quotes and initiate appropriate "cost down" activities
- Assist in defining appropriate electronics architectures / circuit designs for product roadmaps
- Selection of suppliers for advance development projects
- Coordination of series commissioning of suppliers

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Completed studies in electrical engineering - electronics, automotive electronics or comparable course of studies
- At least 3 years of professional experience in international purchasing of electronic components, assembled printed circuit boards and their components
- Distinct cost and quality awareness
- High degree of flexibility and assertiveness
- High level of goal orientation and ability to act on one's own responsibility
- Pleasure in teamwork
- Good written and spoken German and English, another foreign language is desirable
- Willingness to travel intensively
