**Visitor Service Art Exhibition Berlin (f/m/d)**

We are looking for full
- or part-time staff on a temporary basis for the Visitor Service of the exhibition "Lawrence Lek. _NOX_".

The exhibition, commissioned by LAS Art Foundation (Light Art Space gGmbH), explores the complex relationship between human and non-human actors.

NOX (non-human Excellence) is both a video game and an installation by artist Lawrence Lek. This project is part of his ongoing series of games and films dealing with the challenges and promises of artificial intelligence. The interactive exhibition focuses on sentient, self-driving cars in a smart city and is related to nuanced debates around agency, ethics, surveillance and empathy between human and non-human entities.

The exhibition will take place at Kranzler Eck in Berlin-Charlottenburg from Oct. 27, 2023 to Jan. 14, 2024.

**Your tasks**

Through your commitment, you will enable visitors to have a unique visitor experience by performing the following tasks, depending on your schedule:

- You welcome visitors and actively support them during their stay.
- You sell and check tickets at the entrance.
- You are responsible for distributing and collecting headsets.
- You assist wheelchair users and people with walking disabilities.
- You point out any breaches of internal regulations.

**Your profile**
- The topic of the exhibition arouses your curiosity.
- You have strong communication skills and distinguish yourself by thinking and acting in a visitor-oriented way.
- You enjoy working with diverse visitor groups.
- You are reliable and willing to work weekends and public holidays.
- You’re a team player and understand success as a shared responsability.
- You speak at least fluent German and English, additional language skills are of course welcome.
- Ideally, you have gained initial experience in service or mediation in museums/exhibitions or in customer service.
- Ideally, you have an affinity with technology.

**General conditions**
- The working hours are based on the exhibition’s opening hours and range from Tuesday to Sunday between 13:20 and 22:10.
- The exhibit will be closed during the holidays Dec. 24-26, and Dec. 31-Jan
- Working hours can be individually adapted to suit company and individual requirements. We try to find fair and flexible solutions for all parties.
- Remuneration is well above the industry average.
- Before starting to work together, training sessions are held to familiarize the employee with the job.
- We are aware that the success of the exhibition also depends on the motivation and involvement of the employees.
- The duration of employment is limited by the duration of the exhibition. If necessary, further employment on other projects is possible afterwards.

As visitor relations experts, we, x:hibit projects UG, support cultural venues in initiating, maintaining and optimizing their visitor relations. We not only develop the infrastructure of visitor-centered institutions to make them more accessible to visitors, but also provide solutions for visitor
- marketing and management. Implementing visitor services for cultural venues such as museums and exhibitions throughout Germany is one of our core competencies.
