**Meet your team**

As **Associate Director Global Buyer Operations **you will be joining the global operations team which sets frameworks, defines processes and owns tools to enable our regional operations teams to have a relevant impact in their markets. You will be leading a strategy & operations team and will work closely with our regional sales leadership, product, marketing, and many other teams to drive value and enable us to hit key metrics on the restaurant side of our business.

**What you’ll do**
- Own the success of our global restaurant acquisition and retention
- Run a highly effective and efficient global sales engine, defining and implementing frameworks, compensation schemes, tools, and processes
- Hold our regional operations accountable for strong growth performance and support them in reaching their goals
- Develop your global strategy & operations team to be effective when operating across eight countries
- Own cross-functional collaboration between our product, marketing, and regional sales teams

**What we’re looking for**
- Sales leader - You are a sales leader at heart and have proven experience in SME B2B sales
- Operator - You have deep knowledge of operational processes, commercial strategies, marketing, and growth
- Analytical - You are very comfortable with data and always want to understand the key drivers of the business
- Structure - You love to break down problems and are driven by clarity and simplicity
- Bias for action - You want to get things done and get things done fast

**You impress us even more if you have**
- Multiple years of experience in an international sales or operations leadership role
- Knowledge of SQL and experience in working with analytics tools such as Looker or Tableau
- Understanding of the F&B markets in Europe and US

Choco was founded in Berlin in 2018 and has since expanded to a team of over 400 committed Chocorians working from Choco offices in the US, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, the UK, and Spain. Our ordering app is used by over 15K buyers and over 10K suppliers around the globe - processing hundreds of thousands of tons of food every month.

We raised over $280mn from some of the world’s best investors like Bessemer Venture Partners, Insight Partners, Coatue Management, and LeftLane Capital. We are the first unicorn to reduce food waste.
