Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of electronic components and discover the entrepreneur in you with Smith? Our 3-month internship program is your chance to gain hands-on experience, expand your commercial skillset and get your first commercial deal.
Founded in 1984, Smith sources, manages, and distributes the electronic components that go into everything from mobile phones and computers to appliances and automobiles. Smith is the leading independent distributor of electronic components and ranks number seven among all global distributors.
In 19 cities around the world, our legion of employees communicates in 50 different languages and dialects and buys and sells components 24 hours per day, with global sales in excess of $12 billion over the last five years. We’re always moving; helping manufacturers navigate market shifts, customizing supply chain solutions, testing components using cutting-edge technology, and more.
Tasks

Master the art of data manipulation and ensure seamless order flow.
- Build authentic connections with customers
- Elevate your CRM skills to the next level, organizing and managing customer information.
- Sharpen your sales acumen by loading orders using our CRM system and closing deals with confidence.
- Support the buying team with expert tracking, ensuring deliveries are on point.
- Maintain transparency and alignment as you keep traders updated on purchase order statuses.
- Generate sales leads like a rockstar, expanding your network and driving business growth.
