Join us as an Origination Director, Leveraged & Acquisition Finance
- This is a fantastic new opportunity to take on a new career challenge at NatWest in Frankfurt within our European Sponsor Leveraged Finance business
- Joining an established and market-leading Leveraged Finance business, you’ll contribute towards the delivery of our Leveraged & Acquisition franchise for our sponsor clients in the European market

**What you'll do**:
In this high-profile role, you’ll be focussed on originating, structuring, and executing Leveraged Finance deals in the European market, working on transactions for the leading private equity players in Europe across a broad range of sectors and asset classes. You’ll be actively contributing to the development and growth of the business and to the development of the broader corporate franchise.

You’ll maintain a portfolio of senior client relationships and position NatWest as the first point of call for external clients in relation to Leveraged Finance and Structured Finance capabilities.

You’ll also:

- Lead the origination and execution of leveraged finance transactions for financial sponsors as well as key aspects of business and financial due diligence
- Build and maintain relationships with our key Sponsor clients
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to other team members
- Establish and maintain a detailed analytical and commercial understanding of client businesses in order to identify opportunities for broader product capabilities
- Utilise your market knowledge and contacts to cultivate new client relationships in a timely and profitable manner
- Develop and maintain a strong network of partnerships across the bank

**The skills you'll need**:
You’ll need extensive knowledge of, and credibility with, the Western European Leveraged Finance market, as well as strong experience in external marketing, origination, and strategic thinking. You’ll also need a track record of working with others to build business success.

You’ll need a track record of originating an executing leveraged finance deals across Europe, and the natural ability and motivation to engage and build strong relationships with others, both internally and externally.

You’ll also need:

- Experience in credit underwriting, financial modelling, and financial statement analysis, with strong accounting skills and knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- The ability to be detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- The proven ability to deliver stretching financial targets
- To speak, write, and read fluently in English
