Laboratory Assistant Surface

**Responsibilities**:

- You are responsible for the implementation of practical laboratory work in the field of surface modification, for example using plasma technology
- As part of development projects and service orders, you carry out, evaluate and document tests
- You characterize the surfaces of samples and specimens, e.g. by means of contact angle measurements
- You modify and maintain the work on the systems as well as simple programming tasks
- On the way to Laboratory 4.0, you support the automation of the laboratory
- You directly communicate with system manufacturers and customers
- You work in compliance with Freudenberg safety and quality standards

**Qualifications**:

- You have successfully completed your vocational training in the technical field (chemist, chemical or physics laboratory technician, technician or comparable qualification)
- Ideally, you have gained experience in surface finishing using plasma technology
- You bring a careful and structured way of working and a high level of quality awareness
- Additionally, you are characterized by initiative, ambition and a willingness to experiment
- High customer orientation, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- You are interested in IT and ideally have experience in laboratory automation and programming skills
- Very good written and spoken German and good English skills round off your profile
