OEM Account Manager, DACH region

The person in this role is responsible for the recruitment, enablement, and development of new, vertically focused OEM partners in a variety of different verticals including potential healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, transportation and logistics, energy/utilities, and state & local government.
The person in this role is responsible for the recruitment, enablement, and development of new, vertically focused OEM partners in a variety of different verticals including potentially healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, transportation and logistics, energy/utilities, and state & local government.
In addition, this person will drive the OEM strategy for the assigned vertical and ensure we have the right partners to effectively advance our OEM portfolio of solutions into the assigned vertical / segment.
This is a strategic role—fulfilling the “trusted advisor” role.
Tasks
Major Job Duties
2. Align with the OEM team members and determine short list of strategic recruits to enable our success in a selected vertical or market segment (e g WLAN)
4. Be able to clearly articulate target markets these companies can help to address including size of markets, and value proposition the prospect company has addressing that market as a potential OEM.
5. Meet or exceed annual OEM Targets - Design Activity and Revenue.
6. Align with product business units and ensure we have the right OEM product offers at the right price / GM for the assigned vertical / market segment
7\. Focus on Partner Success. Maximize Partner Value. Facilitate Partner relationship. Enable Partner growth, readiness & capability.
**Requirements**:
**Minimum Job Qualifications Required to Perform the Job**:
**A. Education typically required**: college degree preferred or equivalent work experience in addition to minimum selling experience
**B. Nature and length of job experience**: Minimum of 5-10 years of selling experience primarily in a technically driven channel environment.
C. Direct supervisory experience is not a requirement.
**D. Performance Requirements**: Include the following competencies:
Language Skills - The ability to speak German is essential for this role. Other European languages are desirable.
Functional Technical Skills - Demonstrated a sophisticated level of business and financial acumen.
Solid understanding of internal management systems/tools.
Possess the ability to convey Product Knowledge and participate in technical discussions at an appropriate level.
Skillful in negotiating with both internal and external groups.
