Accountant with Hotel Experience

**Company**: Frankfurt office of an international real estate company and family office. The wider Group owns and operates real estate assets in the U.K., Germany and France. The Group currently has two hotel assets at Frankfurt Airport and is expanding to other key markets in Germany and France.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The main duties of the position are listed below, but it is the nature of the job that each activity will have its own range of demands which the person is expected to meet:
- Day to day bookkeeping and regular reporting
- Preparation and submission of the monthly/annual tax returns
- Production of cash flow forecasts
- Maintaining capex payment schedules and capex budget documents
- Act as a general interface between hotel property and ownership group, ensure that hotel property is fulfilling the obligation towards the owner.
- Liaise with accountants to prepare statutory accounts, tax computations and non-resident landlord returns on behalf of group entities
- Assist that insurance and other obligations are undertaken by the operator/property company
- Keep the managing directors updated on a regular basis as to performance of the portfolio
**Skills**
- Successfully completed business studies, major: finance and accounting, tax or audit or
- Successfully completed commercial training with further education in accounting, bookkeeping or tax or a comparable training
- Experience in financial accounting in France (recommended)
- Experience in the hospitality sector
- Knowledge of the accounting software “Sage 100” (recommended)
- Reliable knowledge of the current MS Office programs especially with EXCEL
- Excellent communication skills - both in writing and verbal, English is mandatory, French and German a plus
- Structured, independent, responsible and solution-oriented way of working
- Discreet, loyal and committed personality

Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: 19.00€ - 24.00€ per hour
