Cardo Systems, the global market leader in the field of wireless communication systems for motorcycle & ski helmets, is looking for a **Master Thesis Student** to join its **Cardo Sound Labs team**.

The position is full-time and on-site in the company’s office in Straubing, Germany, and offered as a 6-month contract.

The student will support the development of an AI-based audio/voice algorithm and work closely with the local research and development team while directly reporting to a local supervisor (AI lead).

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the AI-based audio/voice development process
- Create, review, and format audio/voice data and maintain an audio database
- Label audio/voice files and generate meta information
- Develop an AI-based voice algorithm and execute AI training with result evaluation
- Test and benchmark the algorithm at different noise levels in corporation with Cardo’s rider team in Israel

**Requirements**:

- Out-of-the-box thinker
- Enrolled in information technology, electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Knowledge of audio/voice signal processing
- Hands-on in Python script language
- Deep knowledge of machine learning and AI training methodology
- Preferred experience in voice recognition
- German and English (read, write & talk)
