**We’re looking for a Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing to join our team in Europe.**

**We are open to the location of the successful person, but you must be within commutable distance to our office in Munich, Germany.**

In this new position, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of safety and well-being, overseeing everything from risk management to training initiatives. You'll collaborate with regional teams and ensure compliance across all our European sites, including offices, packhouses, and our avocado orchard in Portugal.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Develop and implement health, safety, and wellbeing strategies across Europe.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Oversee training programs to keep employees informed and safe.
- Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Champion employee well-being initiatives and foster a healthy work environment.
- Ensure compliance with European health and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Chartered Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., IOSH) or working towards Chartership.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Strong background in health and safety management.
- Strong knowledge of European health and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.

**Desirable**
- Experience in the food or agricultural industry.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs.
- Proficiency in health and safety management software.
- Additional language skills (beneficial for regional communication).
