**Abbott GmbH in Wiesbaden is looking for an Associate Director, eCommerce Delivery DACH (M/F/d)**

**Description of Role**

Reporting to the DTS (Digital Technology Services) Director responsible for Global eCommerce, this role is a full spectrum IT program leadership role focused on the development of current and next generation eCommerce solutions by establishing and maturing a regional delivery service organization that provides services to the Diabetes Care business unit within Abbott. This role is accountable for contributing to and executing on a clear vision of what internal process and technology the team needs to adapt and building an agile minded culture to meet our Digital and eCommerce product strategy. Associate Director is to provide overall delivery leadership for critical, large scale ecommerce implementation programs by the DTS organization for ADC Germany.

**CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Initiate and Plan IT Projects
- Understanding Abbott’s strategic vision and market needs for delivering best in class digital and ecommerce products that help Abbott fulfill the promise of human potential
- Work with Business Operations team to ensure stability of operational environment by managing any unplanned and planned reoccurring production activities.
- To be responsible for maintaining and reporting agreed level of stability of operational environment.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to maintain compliance of respective security and operational standards.
- Work with Project delivery team to ensure smooth transitioning of new features into operations.
- Works with Strategic Business and Executive IT Management to establish project goals and business case. Interface with executive management on significant matters often requiring the coordination of activity across organization units
- Partner with IT BRMs (Business Relationship Managers) to understand ongoing project demand and balance against capacity. Develop prioritization framework to optimize project delivery leveraging velocity to determine estimates for future demand. Ensure program delivery is aligned with overall strategic goals by balancing tactical solutions with long term technology roadmap
- Establish priorities of program teams, select methods and techniques to lead a portfolio of programs to completion

Delivery Operating Model
- Building a customer obsessed culture that focuses on customer success and brand reputation as its primary goal
- Managing IT delivery and product management teams through the discovery, ideation, planning, design and technical development of minimum viable products and enhancements on an agile release schedule
- Driving timely delivery for a portfolio of projects, enhancements, production bug fixes and platforms within his/her remit
- Leveraging project delivery best practices to build detailed project plans ensuring dependencies and critical path are identified and stringently managed
- Providing Agile best practices across the organization; this will include coaching and mentoring Project Managers, product owners, and developers
- Instilling a culture of agility, automation and continuous improvement, ensuring new features and changes are deployed quickly, safely and with quality leveraging automation
- Making appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes
