**Data Scientist - Natural Language Processing (d/f/m)**:
In the Airframe Engineering in Hamburg we are looking for a Data Scientist to support our Digitalization and Automation Team

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. **Your tasks and responsibilities**

You must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. You are curious and interested in a broader field of digital technologies in the environment of an aircraft manufacturer. It is essential for you to have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- Build solutions for the companies’ most valuable and challenging use cases utilizing Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Extract rich insights from unstructured data to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, add targeting and other business outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Engaging in the global Airbus NLP, AI and analytics communities through holding project showcases, sharing expertise as well as best practices

**Desired skills and qualifications**
- You hold a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
- You have 2-3 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models
- You have strong problem solving skills and are motivated to work fully autonomously inside the corporate organization
- Manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. Storytelling with data would be a plus
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques as well as advanced statistical techniques and concepts
- Familiar with Python including relevant open source libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Spacy as well as SQL
