Für unsere UPM Finance Operations in Augsburg suchen wir einen

Process Expert Taxes (VAT) / Steuerreferent (SUSt) (m/w/d)

UPM Finance & Control ist eine Expertenorganisation, die es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, die betriebliche Effizienz und die Wertsteigerung der UPM Geschäftsbereiche und des gesamten Unternehmens zu unterstützen. Finance & Control besteht aus den Bereichen Finance Operations, Business Control und Finance & Control Development.

Finance Operations ist zuständig für Finanzbuchhaltung, Reporting und Compliance. Business Control arbeitet zusammen mit den UPM Geschäftsbereichen auf profitables Wachstum hin. Das Finance & Control Development Team unterstützt alle Bereiche bei der Verbesserung der Effizienz, Effektivität und Qualität ihrer Serviceleistungen. Die Vision von Finance & Control ist es, eine agile und sichtbare Finanzorganisation von Weltklasse zu werden, die das Wachstum und den Erfolg von UPM beschleunigt.

Was Sie erwartet
- Unterstützung und Überwachung der externen Dienstleister beim steuerlichen Meldewesen (insb. Umsatzsteuererklärungen, Intrastat-Meldungen)
- Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Standorte und globalen Abteilungen/Funktionen für Steuerfragen (insb. Umsatzsteuer und Intrastat)
- Steuerliche Begleitung von (inter)nationalen Geschäftsvorfällen und Projekten mit dem Schwerpunkt Umsatzsteuer
- Sicherstellung und Optimierung der umsatzsteuerrelevanten Prozesse in enger Abstimmung mit dem Service Center in Finnland und unserem externen Dienstleister
- Training und Unterstützung der Endnutzer mit Hinblick auf Umsatzsteuerfragen
- Vorbereitende Tätigkeiten für den IFRS-Konzernabschluss, z.B. die unterjährige Steuerberechnungen
- Mitarbeit bei der Weiterentwicklung der lokalen und globalen Arbeitsprozesse (u.a. Digitalisierung, Automatisierung)
- Mitarbeit bei lokalen und globalen Finance
- und IT-Projekten
- Ansprechpartner für Behörden

Was Sie mitbringen
- Abgeschlossenes Bachelor
- oder Masterstudium mit dem Schwerpunkt Steuern oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Berufserfahrung im Bereich Steuern, bevorzugt in einem internationalen Umfeld, spezielle Kenntnisse im Bereich Umsatzsteuern (auch länderübergreifend) sind von Vorteil
- Systemaffinität, Erfahrung mit der Implementierung von Automatisierungsprozessen im Bereich Steuern sind von Vorteil
- Exzellente Deutschkenntnisse, sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
- Effiziente Arbeitsweise, hohes Engagement, sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, Teamfähigkeit
- Projekterfahrung
