Specialist Customs and Export Controls

**Your tasks**:

- Ensure compliance with international, European and national customs / export control legislation
- Ongoing analysis of amendments of the laws and communication to the Top Management and affiliates
- Advice and drafting of Policies to all legal units and business units of the YASKAWA Group
- Cooperation with Conception and execution of internal audits as well as regular training measures
- Professional support of customs audits by the respective authorities
- Ensuring customs procedures and permits, including AEO
- Coordination of relevant customs matters with the customs and financial authorities
- Maintenance of foreign trade data in SAP or AEB module
- Support for Intrastat declarations
- Implement and performe sanction list screenings
- Close cooperation with the foreign trade department in our Japanese HQs

**Our expectation**:

- at least 5 years of professional experience in customs and foreign trade
- relevant work experience in an international industrial company
- competent expertise in international, European and national customs law and a safe handling of this legislation
- Participation and if applicable assume control in managing projects
- Excellent German and English language skills in spoken and written
- Intercultural competence
- Independent, process-oriented and structured approach
- Willingness to travel internationally (30%)
- Confident manner, assertiveness and communication skills
