Your tasks
- Research of measures to reduce risk for vehicle occupants in the event of a vehicle fire
- Preparation of test area such as carrying out and evaluating tests
- Publications in scientific journals, representation of the projekt at international scientific meetings and workshops and continuous coordination with the project partners, ensuring the correct use of funding and reporting
- A doctoral project is welcomed and supported.

**Profile**:

- Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical engineering
- Experience in the industrial fire department, Work safety, THW or similar organizations is an advantage
- Basic programming knowledge in e.g. Matlab, Labview or similar
- Good teamwork and communication skills, result/oriented independent work such as willingness to learn the use of new technologies, procedures, equipment
- Fluent in written and spoken English and ideally German
