**A Snapshot of Your Day**

In the morning you continue the review of ideas from the Global Customer Operations (GCO) Team in what business processes a generative language AI solution could be a value add. You already selected some promising ideas before and so you invited an idea provider to better understand the details and the motivation. With that additional input you now better understand the idea and you decide to keep it on your short list. Just before lunch you have a team meeting with the Siemens Energy (SE) Generative Language AI community and listen to the latest developments in that area.
- After lunch you are invited to a management meeting of the Bid Management team in GCO where you have been asked to present the basics of generative language AI techniques in SE, including opportunities but also limitations. In the second part of this meeting, you highlight the Bid Management related ideas from your short list and start the discussion with the management team about the most valuable ideas and what first idea should be selected for implementation.
- In the afternoon you meet colleagues from your team to discuss a new idea and how the architecture of data sources, APIs and data lakes would need to be setup to realize it.
- Then, it’s time and you call it a day.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Drive the development and implementation of advanced data analytics solutions with focus on natural language processing techniques
- Support the implementation of data driven project execution methodologies across the engineering, bid management, project management and procurement disciplines
- Coordinate data integration and analysis requirements as well as solutions with IT
- Define required data integration and analysis capabilities for the organization - train the team
- Join the expert network across different business areas, including IT and stay up-to-date on latest data science and ML techniques
- Ensure proper communication with project stakeholders

**What You Bring**
- Master’s degree in process, mechanical or electrical engineering, or a comparable discipline
- Profound expertise in data science, natural language processing and other artificial intelligence methods
- Enthusiastic about unleashing the full potential of data, data analytics and AI/ML solutions in operative business processes
- Excellent team player in global interdisciplinary teams
- Open mindset to new technologies and new ways of working
- Analytical mindset and a systematic style of working
- Fluent English is a must - excellent communication and presentation skills
- Advanced programming skills

**About the Team**

The global engineering team is responsible for the development of reference auxiliaries and adaption to customer requirements for large gas & steam turbines and generator packages.
- The Tools and Data Management (TDM) department is represented in Germany, India and USA and is administrating and further developing the engineering tool landscape including its data.
