At the University of Göttingen -Public Law Foundation-, Department für Agrarökonomie und Rurale Entwicklung, there are 2 positions as

**Post-Doctoral Researchers in Agricultural Economics (all genders welcome)**
**Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L/200%**

to be filled. Starting date is as soon as possible. The position is limited to 06/30/2027.
- Agricultural and food economics (incl. consumer behavior)
- Sustainable food systems
- Machine learning, AI and digital agribusiness management
- International agricultural development

**The job responsibilities include**:

- **Conduct Research**:

- Develop new and contribute to existing research projects in agricultural and/or development economics.
- Establish and advance an independent research agenda aligned with the Department's themes.
- Strengthen the research profile of the Department through active participation, publications, and innovative contributions.
- **Grant Applications**:Assist in preparing proposals and develop own proposals to secure research funding.
- **Collaborate and Network**:Interact actively with researchers within and outside the department, and participate in conferences to disseminate findings and build networks.
- **Teach and Supervise**:Contribute to teaching responsibilities within the Department and to supervision of BSc, MSc and PhD students.

**Your profile**
- holds a Master's and a PhD degree (completed or close to completion) in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Data Sciences, Psychology, Statistics or a related field
- Evidence of research activity (publications) and/or future scholarly output (working papers, etc.)
- Proven interest in topics related to food and/or agriculture
- Strong analytical skills and experience with quantitative research methods
- Clear research plan
- Excellent English language skills
