- Planning & design of the FTTP networks from the OLT to the premise utilizing PIA on QGIS or other planning tools.- Creation of High-Level FTTP designs utilizing client’s specifications using QGIS or other planning tools.- Creation of Low-level once the design has been validated via the survey team.- Produce Civils drawings QGIS, cable drawings QGIS, SLD (Visio), FAS(Excel), Release sheets (Excel), BOM/BOQ (Excel & QGIS), risk register (Excel), street works sheet (Excel), cabinet locations (Excel), Pole Survey Sheet (Excel), Chamber surface sheet (Excel), surface type sheet (Excel) from the completed design.- Existing manhole assessments (location, type, conditions) using Google Earth or other tools.
- Existing pole assessments (location, type, conditions) using Google Earth or other tools.

**Skills & Knowledge**:
- FTTx Architecture.- Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF writer, Visio, Q-QIS, GEOHUB.- Fibre Network Planning and surveying experience.- A minimum of 4 years good experience of working in a Fibre Network Planning Environment.- Knowledge of or experience working in a FTTH provider- Create detailed design of the proposed built environment and capture the most feasible and cost-effective solution for new build in accordance with the specifications- Identifying any potential SED or specific Traffic Management requirements. Also determine at the planning stage any specific wayleave requirements.- Able to follow design schematics and management direction.- Attention to detail.- High levels of quality standards.- A telecoms background coupled with a planning background is required for this position - you may have worked for one of the major Germany Communications Provider which would be an advantage- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
